COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will present the basic foundation for the reading and writing of Sesh Medu Netcher (sSA mdw nTr), otherwise known as the Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphic Writing System. The student will be introduced to the history of the language, its writing, structural rules of order, functions of signs, sign types & basics of grammar.
